Batman: Arkham City - A Great Superhero Game Ever Made!

I admit, I'm not a big fan of Batman, but I appreciate a good game license when I see it, because it is so rare in the gaming industry. 2009 Batman: Arkham Asylum has shown us that games based on superhero comics can be uber awesome until the engine has a passion for the problem. It was just a game developer Rocksteady passionate as they are packed in a round, polished experience a player can examine the psyche of the Dark Knight, what's it so far. So not only captured the feelings of the players, but die-hard Batman fans as well. With Arkham City, are brought to a higher level of service fans expands on what was already a very kickass action game. Batman fan or not, Arkham City is a game that can not afford to be left out.

In Arkham City, the action has moved out of the walls of Arkham Asylum in the well of the city, an ultra-type prison is now a breeding ground for the scum of Gotham City and some of the most dangerous enemies of Batman. Dr. Hugo Strange, someone I'm not very familiar with is now in charge of this place and Batman to find out what her game is final. Meanwhile, his nemesis, the Joker has a few tricks up his sleeve that makes life more difficult for The Dark Knight. On the way he meets a lot of Bad Dudes Batman universe, some of which probably will be familiar to hardcore fans. Fortunately, the story unfolds in a way that can be enjoyed by those who do not know the difference between Grundy and Solomon Cobblepot.

With the change in Arkham City, players will have more freedom than before. This is not an open world game like GTA IV, but it's an amazing amount of content to play through. Besides the story itself, it has a lot of side missions scattered around the map. Some may be as simple as the player to save the soul of the other unhappy, you could collaborate with a number of recurring villain to destroy the number "X" container full of Titan through the city. Quests do not feel like being thrown forcefully to increase the length of the game, because they are binding in Batman tradition in one way or another, the use of quite a few surprises along the way. You also have the Riddler makes a comeback with a lot more problems, some of which are actually quite deadly. And finally, you Challenge Rooms, which will test your skills in both combat and stealth.Based on different maps inspired by the campaign itself, the Challenge Rooms push your skills to the limit when you take on waves of enemies to reach high scores or hit a room full of enemies silently in a stipulated time .

While I certainly appreciate the change of scenery, I had a little problem with a small navigation system of the game. Now, when you play a much larger scale, I found myself circling the minutes before the finish I got the point of departure. I'm not saying I want Fable-esque trail of bread crumbs, but it is almost open-world structure in mind, the picture would really help. Another aspect of the gameplay is not particularly care has been to open the game system. In Arkham Asylum once again around the island of new gadgets, and could improve the ability to be used in areas not previously possible. This is significantly lower in Arkham City, you start the game with a lot of time for all abilities from the first game will open up the system completely useless. Almost an hour into the game and I was most if not all the updates that I really wanted. This made the whole party leveling less attractive for me.

Besides these two minor problems recently, Arkham City offers a seamless experience for Batman. If you've played Arkham Asylum (which really should have), you feel comfortable with this game because the gameplay is unchanged. Both stealth and fighting as the two pillars of the game and more refined than ever. FreeFlow combat system and highly reactive fluid is back with the addition of new moves and attacks against that place by a large group of enemies feel like violent poetry in motion. Another part of the fight that still gets to me is his physique took home bonuses for stellar sound effects and camera angles wrong.

No matter how Badass Batman is still a very human face to a very possible he was killed. Of course, now you can go against these guys have the option of deploying smoke bombs to confuse, but it is much more satisfying to outwit and outrun them, taking one by one. Crawling through the vents, go to the statues of gargoyles many are in the game or simply hidden behind an enemy and take him down in silence. This is familiar territory for anyone who has played the first game and it feels amazing.

Arkham Asylum was a great game and his successor, there is no difference. Built on the same Unreal Engine 3, Rocksteady has managed to churn out a powerful graphical end, both inside and outside. When he stepped in Arkham City for the first time, the staggering scale of the city affects the horizon when looking ripe for exploration. The city is full of himself with so many details, it only takes a few minutes to soak it all in Batman animations are also very elaborate, and the act of jumping or slipping of the building looks very fluid and natural. Character Design, as always, is top notch and all the villains in Batman, or grunts are very well designed. This is one of the game, the cries of production quality and impeccable attention to detail.

If you're still reading this review and has not made a beeline for your store to pick up a copy yet, it is established that this is a must buy action games. Apart from some minor problems, Arkham City offers the perfect experience of Batman with a shovel. It seems, plays really well and offers a tremendous amount of content that will keep you in Arkham City for days. This game is a shining example of the license is well done, and I really hope that other developers sit up and take notice.
