Review of MSI N450GTS Cyclone 1GD5

Price of the graphics card fell, and we see prices normalize. A map entry-level graphics is capable of running most games today is within the reach of many. The last comparison test we stopped for graphics cards of entry found that some of the more expensive cards of Rs 8000 range offer exceptional performance. Move down to the price range and there are some interesting cards that are worth watching. MSI N450GTS Cyclone is such a card, and it's not just the name that attracts our attention.

Feature
The MSI N450GTS is powered by the NVIDIA GeForce GTS450. It is based on the 40nm manufacturing process as the rest of the GeForce 400 series. The GeForce GTS450 GPU runs at 783MHz, but MSI OC edition card runs at 850 MHz, a small increase, but is expected to help challenge cards and a caliber greater than those based on the new GPU. There is a gigabyte of onboard GDDR5 memory the card into a memory interface 128-bit.
There are three video line outputs - two DVI and one mini-HDMI. The package includes a 6-pin Molex converter, converter and a DVI-D-Sub and a separate mini-HDMI to HDMI. There are also SLI support up to two cards. Terms of power requirements, a 6-pin power connector is required. NVIDIA requires 106W of power load, which is not much. 450W power supply should be sufficient for the average PC with the GeForce GTS450. MSI has used Samsung GDDR5 memory chips on the card. Do not cool the heat sink.

Design and Build Quality
Although this is a budget graphics card is quite large and all thanks to your refrigerator. The card occupies two slots and is unlikely to be able to use a second card in the adjacent slot.
The refrigerator is compact and has two heatpipes through two sets of heatfins. The main radiator block itself is quite thin, but has fins on them, that everyone should add to provide good heat dissipation. The fan on the card is relatively small in comparison.

Performance
While N450GTS MSI GeForce GTS450 is another Cyclone is overclocked and gives you an advantage over the rest of the GTS450. The Asus GTS450 is slightly faster overall, but the most expensive cards in the GeForce GTS test.
The N450GTS beats all its competitors in this price range easily. Generally, it is a good 20 to 30 percent faster than other cards in its range. Of course, it is not as impressive as the cards at a price of Rs 1500 during the XFX Radeon HD6790. The closest competitor is the ZOTAC GeForce GTS450. The other GTS450 card does not match his pace. Playing frame stirring at 60 fps in games running at 1680 x 1050-resolution with high detail, which is pretty impressive. Low resolution and you can cross the 70 and 80 fps mark.
In terms of temperature, too, everything seemed stable. At idle, managed 32 degrees Celsius, which is very good and much under load, was at a temperature of 53 degrees Celsius, lower than most of the cards overclocking. With these temperatures, we believe there is more room for overclocking.

Verdict
GeForce N450GTS may be an older card, DirectX 11, but complacency and courtesy enough grit to overclock the core, can challenge the cards have a higher price, and built on the latest technology.
MSI N450GTS offers best of both worlds - it gives a very strong performance in its price, even if it is a more powerful card in its price range. Priced at about Rs. 7000 in India, will do well to buy. Only a better value for money products XFX Radeon HD6770 is a.
