Ok this has just made my day. It turns out EA have finally come clean to divulge the release date for the much awaited Battlefield 3 beta, which by the way was supposed to kick off at the start of the month. You’ll be glad to know gamers across the Xbox360, PS3 and PC will be able to try this game out for themselves by the 29th of September. Yes, that’s next Thursday.
It's on like Donkey Kong
In case you picked up the special edition of Medal of Honor, you’ll be able to enter the beta two days earlier by the 27th. The beta will feature one of the series’ more popular modes, Rush across the same map featured in the Alpha, Operation Metro. On the Xbox360, the beta will appear on the marketplace while PS3 users can grab it off the PlayStation Network. PC gamers on the other hand will have to grab it from Origin, EA’s digital download service. For more on the beta we suggest you hop on over to the game’s official beta site.
The Battlefield 3 beta will end by the 10th of October while the game itself will release later on in the month by the 28th across the Xbox360, PS3 and PC.
